 Stress Response Quiz

How Does Your Nervous System Respond to Stress?
sunrise_edited_edited_edited.jpg

Each of us has developed brilliant survival strategies to cope with stress, uncertainty, loss, and pressure. These responses are not personality traits and they are not flaws. They are intelligent nervous system patterns that have kept you safe.

When these patterns remain unconscious, they can keep us stuck in cycles of burnout, anxiety, or disconnection instead of growth and vitality.

This short quiz will help you identify your primary stress response pattern, using animal-based archetypes aligned with the Five Elements of Chinese medicine.

You may recognize yourself in more than one. That is normal.

This quiz is not a diagnosis. It does not define who you are. None of these patterns are wrong. It simply offers insight into how your system responds under pressure — and where balance can be restored.

Choose the answer that feels most true when you are stressed or overwhelmed.

Don’t overthink — go with your first instinct. Let curiosity (not judgment) guide you.
